About the Estoril Sol Gaming1 Deal

As part of the agreement, Estoril Sol will be providing a proprietary software platform upon which the new online gaming site will operate. For its part, Gaming1 will be supplying the gaming content from its complete portfolio of online casino games. At this time, these games will be the only games in the offering. While the portfolio only contains 15 video slots and 3 table games – roulette and blackjack – Gaming1 is promising more new content in the coming months.

From the desk of Gaming1 CEO Sylvain Boniver came this message: “The creation of this joint venture demonstrates Gaming1’s strength as an all-round partner, not just a provider. We are passionate about partnering with land-based operators who want to put their business online, as this really is part of our DNA and what makes us stand out from the rest of the industry. Thanks to our partnership model, the Estoril Sol Group benefits from the extensive expertise and involvement of the entire Gaming1 team. It’s a very proud moment for us to launch the first licensed website to offer legal online casino in Portugal and together we hold all the aces to move forward in this exciting market.”

On behalf of Estoril Sol, Vieira Coelho stated: “We’ve been very impressed with Gaming1’s products and services and we’re really excited to be launching this joint venture with them. We like to enter into partnerships with companies and GAMING1 are the perfect partner for us to really target the Portuguese online casino market.”

Estoril Sol is the largest land-based casino in Portugal with three important casino sites – Estoril, Lisboa and Póvoa. For Ardent Group subsidiary Gaming1, the signing of this agreement gives them a foot up in a new online casino market that has enormous potential for growth. That’s a great position for a company that is looking forward to growing leaps and bounds in the iGaming industry.
