Leading Sydney-based slot design specialist Lightning Box Games has revealed that it has signed an agreement that will see its content being supplied to William Hill’s licensed betting offices in the United Kingdom.
About the Will Hill-Lightning Box Games Agreement
In terms of the deal signed between the parties, the operator will be given exclusive access to the Australian studio’s Panda Power Deluxe and Silver Lion Deluxe titles. This follows the remarkable commercial success of similar online models.
Lightning Box Games’ content will be rolled out across William Hill’s 2,300 strong retail estate and more than 9,000 gaming machines in the United Kingdom as from the second quarter of next year, with additional games to be made available thereafter.
Lightning Box Managing Director and Co-Founder, Peter Causley, commented on the agreement by saying that he is delighted to sign the agreement with William Hill which gives them an important breakthrough in the UK market, as well as the opportunity to do true omni-channel releases to William Hill’s online, mobile and retail players.
Causley went on to say that their games have been extremely popular with players and casino owners across multiple channels in Europe and North America and he is confident that they will also be well received by British audiences.
Andrew Sackey, Head of Product and Content at William Hill, said that Lightning Box Games’ portfolio comes with a great pedigree and reputation and he is very pleased to be able to offer it to their customers as part of their great slots range. He also said that they are eager to see how the first two games perform as omni-channel content for their online and land-based customers, and are looking forward to working with Peter and his team.
Lightning Box Games’ key game designers each have more than 20 years’ experience in producing commercially successful video slots.
