As one of the world’s biggest iGaming software providers, Microgaming has made it clear they have no intention of letting up on the gas when it comes to spreading its Quickfire games platform over the Internet. The company has just announced the signing of a major deal with the Rank Group to provide Rank’s impressive list of gaming concerns with Quickfire content.
The Rank Group’s Head of Casino and Games Cíara Nic Liam had this to say about the deal: “Intent on upholding our position as leaders in the UK market, signing for Quickfire was a must. It’s important we have the most impressive and extensive game portfolio for our astute player base, and that means bringing Microgaming’s grand collection on board.”
About the Rank Group
The Rank Group has been providing gaming for UK citizens since the company was founded in 1937. Over the past 15 or so years, the company has focused on the operation of the Grosvenor Casinos group with its more than 55 online casinos and the Mecca bingo group, which owns over 100 bingo sites. The combination of these interests make Rank one of the largest iGaming brands in the UK.
For Microgaming, this is an important deal because of the number of Internet sites that are being added to an already impressive client list. According to Quickfire’s top executive Tom Chamberlain, “We’re excited to be adding renowned gaming brands, Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca, to the Quickfire platform. They are staple names in the UK market, and we believe our content will be the perfect match for their players.”
For the most part, Microgaming needs little introduction. Since its introduction to the industry more than 20 years ago, the company has been an empire built on innovative game development and incredible marketing strategies. The company maintains its main headquarters in the Isle of Man where the company also maintains one of its primary iGaming licenses. Over the years, they have had a great deal of influence over the industry as evidenced by being one of the founding members of both eCOGRA and IGC.
Over 500 Microgaming Slots & Games
