Playtech’s Omni-Channel ONE Live Casino at Sky

Following the launch and release of Playtech’s new omni-channel ONE Live Casino on Sky’s site earlier this year, the operator did a clean job by winning EGR’s Innovation in Casino award. The jury noted the close collaboration with the developer on Live product innovation, further improving the usability and accessibility factors that have ultimately increased the product’s performance and growth.

Playtech’s next-generation live casino studio, which is also regarded as the world’s largest, launched at Sky earlier in April this year. The 8,500 square metre live casino campus is based in Riga, Latvia, and is home to hundreds of exclusive tables, a training facility for the dealers, as well as advanced control and monitoring centre.

As of now, Sky Casino players can immerse themselves into live gaming action behind tables that feature roulette, including Sky Live Roulette, blackjack, including Sky VIP Live Blackjack, baccarat, Casino Hold’em, and Live HiLo.

Not only that, but Sky Casino also won the first ever annual Playtech Award. Being more of a closed B2B event, it recognizes and rewards marketing excellence and innovation across the Playtech Casino network of global licensees.

For one of the largest iGaming suppliers, it’s been a successful month as well. More specifically, Playtech picked up five trophies at the annual EGR B2B Awards, which was held on 6th June in London. They have beaten the competition in the following five categories: Platform of the Year; Multi-channel supplier of the Year; Bingo Supplier of the Year; and Poker Software and Poker Network of the Year.

Here’s what Shimon Akad, COO of Playtech, told the reporters: “Many congratulations to Sky on winning this prestigious and well-deserved award. This is fantastic recognition for the growth and success of their new offering, the close working relationship we continue to have with them on Live and many other products, and the innovation both Sky and Playtech continue to drive forward to generate such a unique and best-performing Live product.”
