Betfred, a sports betting and gaming brand that’s among the leading of UK operators, has signed an agreement with the Cherry-owned games developer Yggdrasil Gaming. Following the direct integration, its online casino and its many members will get a whole new selection of games, including the promotional tools that come with the package.
Yggdrasil Gaming’s Innovative Slots
Yggdrasil Gaming’s award-winning collection of video slots, which are licensed in Malta, Gibraltar, Denmark and the UK, will go live on the operator’s UK and dot com offerings. This includes recent launches Spiña Colada and Sunny Shores, as well as progressive jackpots like Empire Fortune, which recently made one lucky player €5,197,198 richer.
Games aside, the Swedish-owned Slot Provider of the Year (EGR B2B Awards) is also popular for its in-game promotional tools, including BOOST™, and the social sharing tool, BRAG. They will allow Betfred players to join in on various slot-specific tournaments and win a share of lucrative prize pools, on a regular basis.
The deal also sees new additions in the future, all of which will be built on Yggdrasil’s revamped platform iSENSE 2.0+, which allows for in-game deposits and intuitive portrait mode gaming on mobile devices. One of the newer games that also has some of these features is Power Plant.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, commented: “Betfred is renowned for providing a great gaming experience, so it is a natural home for Yggdrasil slots. Since securing our UK license, it has been a key strategic aim to place our slots with the market’s most important operators, and this is another important step towards that goal. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Betfred, both in the UK and beyond.”
With the new deal, Yggdrasil joins the ranks of other prominent iGaming studios currently available at licensed Betfred casinos. This includes Microgaming, Playtech, Blueprint Gaming, and IGT.
