- ALWAYS research the casino you want to play at and its Terms and Conditions! Make completely sure you understand a casino’s “Terms and Conditions” or “Rules”; sometimes these will even be divided into “General Terms and Conditions” and “Promotional Terms and Conditions”. If that’s the case, read both completely. Before you even deposit, know exactly what games you can (or can’t) play and what the casino’s wagering requirements are.
- Take a screenshot of those Terms and Conditions as well. Simply holding down the Alt key and PrtScn key on your keyboard when the Terms and Conditions are the primary window on your screen is the easiest way to do this. Another little trick is to put your mouse cursor over the clock on your screen (so that the current date pops up) before you take the screenshot. Paste the screenshot into a document and save it. If the casino changes their Rules (which can happen very quickly), you have proof of the current Rules on the day you took the bonus offer.
- Invest in a computer scanner or use a friend’s. Most online casinos ask you for forms of identification such as a driver’s license and utility bill. Scan copies of these documents and keep them in a folder on a disk or your computer. You can black out any account numbers; the casino only wants to verify your address. If a casino asks, you can simply email the copies very easily. Even if you’re not asked for them, possibly send them anyways in order to prevent any problems.
- Keep records of your deposits and withdrawals. If you win, it’ll make it a lot easier if you know who’s paying and when it’s due. Withdrawals can take anywhere from days to weeks depending on what deposit option you used. Keeping your own records may save you some headache in the future.
- Deposit enough to get the most out of the bonus offered at any specific casino if you can.
- If you’re up after you’ve finished the wagering requirements, withdraw at least something! Everyone’s heard the stories of gamblers who’ve lost it all because they thought they were “hot” and couldn’t lose.
