Amatic Industries Software

In the early 1990s, Amatic Industries entered the gaming industry as a developer and supplier of unique and popular gaming devices used in land-based casinos around the world. As online casino gambling began its rise to prominence after the turn of the century, the company began branching out beyond the high tech casino cabinets and video lottery terminals for which it had become famous. Today, the company is providing the online gaming industry with a software platform that features many of its land-based games converted into a 3D video format.

Amatic Industries

The Company

Amatic Industries was incorporated in September of 1993. The company's headquarters is located in Rutzenmoos, Oberösterreich, Austria, not exactly a hotbed of gaming companies. When the company began manufacturing gaming devices and components, they targeted the high-end of the marketplace, producing quality products that would be used in many of the top casinos throughout the world. The company became renowned for producing gaming cabinets that provided several gaming options within the same device. After proving themselves to be a real gaming innovator, it was only a matter of time before Amatic Industries made its entry into the online video slots market.

The Software

Choosing to not reinvent the wheel, Amatic Industries has confined its move into the online casino industry to providing games. The games have been designed based on popular land-based creations the company already had in its arsenal. The titles are easily integrated within other popular online gaming software platforms and are accessible in download mode, instant-play mode with a couple of games available through mobile browsers on smartphones and tablets powered by Apple’s iOS and Android. Game outcomes are determined by a random number generator, which the company claims to be "fair and safe."

The Games

As a land-based game developer, much of Amatic Industries efforts have been focused on the game of roulette. However, the company's efforts in the online arena have moved towards video slots. They have converted just over 20 of the company's best games into an online format. Most of the games come with a standard five reel game design that includes a variety of different pay lines and bonus games. While the company will never be confused with industry stalwarts like Microgaming, Net Entertainment or Playtech, the company does bring its own distinct style to the table. The games on the list with the most interesting titles are Wild Shark, Admiral Nelson, Africa, Dragon's Pearl, 80 Days, Baron Munchausen, Book of Aztec and Games Bond.

Amatic is a 1993 established iGaming developer from Austria that entered the online gaming market in 2011. Their original land-based game online renditions are currently present on a handful of online casino sites and networks like SoftSwiss.
